3)What is the duration of Retainer wear?
  After the completion of braces treatment a set of xrays will be required to decide the course of retainer. Accordingly there are three types basically Short term, medium term, and long term.

4)Do all cases require retainers? Yes all patients once undergone any kind of braces / invisalign / lingual braces etc must and should have retainers.

5)What happens if I don’t wear my retainer? Always remember the teeth have tendency to always go to it’s original position, this is called as”” Relapse.”Depending on the severity of your original condition the relapse is calculated and the retention is planned. So if you are Irregular in wearing your retainers then the relapse is sure to happen after which you may need to undertake the Treatment again.

6)How can I take care of my teeth if I’m wearing  a retainer?
Brush your teeth after every meal and floss at least once a day.
_Remove your retainers before eating and keep it safe in its container..
Periodic scaling is required atleast once in six months once you have fixed retainers.

7)What if the retainers are lost or broken, will there be any charges ? If for any reason you have lost of broken you have immediately get it replaced, visit the clinic with an appointment. Replacing a retainer is chargeable.
